The gift card form is where customers choose a value, enter the recipient's name and email, write a message and pick a delivery date. Giftora adds it to your theme with app embeds, so you don't need to edit theme code.
The form only shows on your gift card product. Other products aren't changed.
Turn on the app embeds
- In Giftora, open the Dashboard and select Open theme editor in the theme step. You can also go to Settings → Storefront → Turn on in your theme.
- The theme editor opens on App embeds. Turn on Giftora gift card form.
- Also turn on Giftora gift card — fast load. It's recommended: it hides your theme's buy buttons before the page appears, so they don't flash before the form shows.
- Select Save in the theme editor.
- Back in Giftora, select I've turned it on.
If you don't see the theme editor links, open Giftora from your Shopify admin (Apps → Giftora) and try again.
The step is also marked done automatically after a customer places an order using the gift form.
Choose how the form looks
Go to Settings → Storefront and choose a Display:

Full page templates
- Three steps: one column, step by step. Best on phones.
- Letter: customers write their note on a letter.
- Card stage: a big card on your brand color, with values shown as cards.
- Boutique: a dark panel with a large value slider. Best with 3 to 6 values.
Select Customize to open the editor. It shows a desktop and mobile preview while you edit. Fonts and the header follow your theme on your store.
Match your store colors
In Colors, set:
- Accent: by default, the button color from your gift email.
- Page background
- Cards and fields
- Text
If a text color is hard to read on your background, Giftora uses black or white text instead and tells you. Select Reset to defaults to go back to the template colors.
Changes can take up to a minute to show on your store.
Check it on your store
Select View on store in the editor, or open your gift card product on your storefront. If the product isn't available yet, make it available first.
